Contract signed at IAA Hanover 2014
Monopoly, one of Russia’s largest companies specialized in transportation of conditioned food products, will acquire 700 new DAF XF trucks to expand its fleet. The order was signed at the IAA exhibition in Hanover by Ilya Dmitriev and Maxim Onyfrienko - Monopoly directors -, Marcel Verbeeten - general director of DAF dealer Terra Truck - and Ron Bonsen - member of the DAF Board of Management and responsible for Marketing & Sales. Delivery of the vehicles will take place this and next year. As a result of the new order, the fleet of Monopoly will grow to over 1.000 units of which 700 DAF trucks.

Waberer’s International Pte. Co., one of Europe’s largest road transport companies acquires 1,000 new DAF CF and XF trucks to renew its fleet. The order was signed at the IAA exhibition in Hanover by Waberer’s International Chairman/CEO György Wáberer and Ron Bonsen, member of the DAF Board of Management and responsible for Marketing & Sales. Delivery of the vehicles will take place this and next year. As a result of the new order, nearly half of Waberer’s fleet of 3,300 units will consist of DAF trucks.

‘Always the right solution’ is DAF’s overall theme at IAA 2014 - which is being held inHanover from 25 September to 2 October. DAF Trucks will be exhibiting its fullindustry leading product and services range to illustrate that it offers theright solution for every application. A new and extremely quiet CF distributiontruck allows deliveries in city areas where noise restrictions apply duringevening and night. New CF and XF Low Deck tractors maximize the highestefficiency within volume transportation. DAF also announces sophisticatedtechnologies like Predictive Cruise Control and Predictive Shifting to furtheroptimize fuel efficiency.
Debut at IAA Hannover 2014
At the IAA 2014, which is being held in Hannover from 25 September to 2 October, DAF introduces an extremely quiet CF for urban distribution during the evening and at night. The CF Silent will be available from the beginning of 2015.
For extra heavy and special applications
DAF is expanding its new Euro 6 series with a full range of four-axle CF and XFrigids and tractors for special and heavy duty transport applications. DAF underlines to have a tailored solution for every transport application.
The new DAF Euro 6 XF has been voted ‘Truck of the Year 2014’ by readers of the renowned Polski Traker monthly magazin. DAF's top-of-the-range model was awarded for its elegant design, safety features and superb comfort.

From 300 to more than 72,000 articles
PACCAR Parts introduced its Truck and Trailer Parts program (TRP) in 1994 within the framework of the ‘One Stop Shop’ strategy, in which the operator can find everything for his entire fleet at one location. In the last twenty years, the TRP program has expanded into the most professional and market leading range of universal parts for all truck and trailer makes.
At Leyland Trucks in the UK, the 5,000th DAF LF distribution truck with in-house manufactured and mounted PACCAR body came off the production line. The vehicle was handed to Royal Mail, the UK’s postal service that already has more than 700 PACCAR bodied DAF vehicles in its fleet.
Record market shares in 2013
DAF Trucks further strengthened its position on the European truck market last year. In the heavy truck segment (16 tonnes+), a market share of 16.2% was achieved, a record in the 85 year history of the company. With a market share of 11.8% (an all time record as well) DAF was also very successful in the light segment (6-16 tonnes).
