    DAF Trucks has completely renewed its special website for the bodybuilder industry ( The online platform is now available in no less than thirteen languages and makes it even easier for bodybuilders to access advice and guidance on mounting superstructures on DAF chassis in the most efficient way.

    At the start of 2015, DAF will introduce a large number of innovations that will significantly contribute to optimised transport efficiency. Enhancements to the already efficient PACCAR MX engines combined with innovative technologies such as Predictive Cruise Control, Predictive Shifting and Eco Mode add up to fuel saving opportunities of 4–5%. New deflectors and fenders offer possibilities for additional savings. All these innovations are part of the new ‘DAF Transport Efficiency’ programme, with products and services aimed at achieving maximum return per kilometre.

  • DAF establishes subsidiary in Istanbul

    To support further growth in Turkey

    DAF Trucks N.V. will establish its own marketing and sales office in Istanbul to further strengthen its market position in Turkey. The new subsidiary – DAF Trucks Turkey Otomotiv Ticaret Limited Şirketi – will be operational December 1, 2014.

  • Mike Christensen best DAF Technician in Europe

    DAF European Technician of the Year 2014

    The DAF European Technician of the Year 2014 Award has been won by 39-year old Mike Christensen of Truckcenter A/S in Padborg, Denmark. The European final, which consisted of several assignments and tests, took place at DAF Trucks in Eindhoven. The trophy was presented by Johan Drenth, After Sales Director of DAF Trucks N.V.

  • PACCAR Announces strong quarterly revenues and earnings

    “PACCAR reported higher revenues and net income for the third quarter of 2014,” said Ron Armstrong, chief executive officer. “PACCAR’s third quarter results reflect the benefits of strong truck sales in the U.S. and Canada, and excellent aftermarket parts revenues and financial services results worldwide.   • PACCAR MX-11 engine wins Innovation Award

    The PACCAR MX-11 Euro 6 engine has won the Truck Innovation Award at the annual Fleet Transport Awards 2015 in Ireland. The engine received the recognition because of its state-of-the-art technology, resulting in maximum reliability, high fuel efficiency and low weight for optimum payload.

  • Monopoly based in St Petersburg orders 700 DAF trucks

    Contract signed at IAA Hanover 2014

    Monopoly, one of Russia’s largest companies specialized in transportation of conditioned food products, will acquire 700 new DAF XF trucks to expand its fleet. The order was signed at the IAA exhibition in Hanover by Ilya Dmitriev and Maxim Onyfrienko - Monopoly directors -, Marcel Verbeeten - general director of DAF dealer Terra Truck - and Ron Bonsen - member of the DAF Board of Management and responsible for Marketing & Sales. Delivery of the vehicles will take place this and next year. As a result of the new order, the fleet of Monopoly will grow to over 1.000 units of which 700 DAF trucks.

  • Waberers International orders another 1000 DAF trucks

    Contract signed at IAA Hannover 2014

    Waberer’s International Pte. Co., one of Europe’s largest road transport companies acquires 1,000 new DAF CF and XF trucks to renew its fleet. The order was signed at the IAA exhibition in Hanover by Waberer’s International Chairman/CEO György Wáberer and Ron Bonsen, member of the DAF Board of Management and responsible for Marketing & Sales. Delivery of the vehicles will take place this and next year. As a result of the new order, nearly half of Waberer’s fleet of 3,300 units will consist of DAF trucks.
