    Following the start of production of the first CF and XF Euro 6 tractor variants (4x2 and 6x2 with second steered axle) earlier this year, DAF is now further expanding the range including a complete range of three-axle rigids with trailing, second steered or tandem axles. The air suspension has been completely redeveloped, offering great advantages for applications with swap-body systems, such as the BDF, which is popular in Germany.

    The 2,000th locally assembled DAF CF85 truck has rolled off the production line at FASC - the Formosa Automobile Sales Corporation - in Taiwan. DAF has been active in Taiwan since 2006 and is the market leader amongst the European brands.

  • PACCAR commences production of DAF trucks in Brasil

    PACCAR held an opening ceremony today to launch its new DAF assembly plant in Brasil. The ceremony, led by Mark Pigott, PACCAR chairman and chief executive officer, and Parana Governor, Beto Richa, was attended by state and local officials, DAF Brasil dealers, suppliers, transport companies and business and educational leaders.
