    DAF introduced its new flagship Euro 6 XF model at the Hanover truck show. The new XF will enter production in Spring-2013. The Euro 6 DAF XF includes a new chassis, a fuel efficient Euro 6 PACCAR MX engine, an aerodynamic exterior design and a modern spacious interior.

  • DAF announces Euro 6 engines with common rail

    Developed for maximum efficiency and sustainability

    DAF Trucks announces a new engine generation, developed for the new Euro 6 emissions legislation, which comes into force in the European Union on 1 January 2014. The 12.9 litre Euro 6 PACCAR MX-13 engine uses ultra-modern common rail technology, a turbo with variable geometry and advanced controls for maximum efficiency. In order to comply with the strict Euro 6 emissions requirements, it features exhaust gas recirculation, together with SCR technology and an active soot filter. "The PACCAR MX-13 engine is ultra clean", says Ron Borsboom, member of the DAF Trucks N.V. Board of Management and responsible for Product Development. "In addition, we've gone to great lengths to obtain industry leading fuel efficiency, reliability and sustainability."
