  • PACCAR commences production of DAF trucks in Brasil

    PACCAR held an opening ceremony today to launch its new DAF assembly plant in Brasil. The ceremony, led by Mark Pigott, PACCAR chairman and chief executive officer, and Parana Governor, Beto Richa, was attended by state and local officials, DAF Brasil dealers, suppliers, transport companies and business and educational leaders.

  • New PACCAR Parts Distribution Center opens for business

    For DAF's continued growth in Europe and the introduction of Euro 6

    PACCAR Parts has opened its new state-of-the-art PACCAR Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Eindhoven. The new parts distribution centre has a surface area of 26,000 m², can store over 65,000 different truck parts and will play an important role in the continued growth of DAF Trucks in the European market. The construction of the new PDC involved an investment of around €30 million. 

  • DAF XF105 voted fleet truck of the year 2013

    The DAF XF105 ATe has been voted ‘Fleet Truck of the Year’ at the prestigious ‘Motor Transport Awards 2013’ in London, giving DAF its fifth win in the last six years. DAF was handed the award at an official ceremony in London, which was attended by 1,600 leading representatives from the transport sector.

  • Prime Minister di Rupo visits DAF Trucks Flanders

    On Friday May 17, the Prime Minister of Belgium, Elio Di Rupo, paid a working visit to the ultra-modern DAF axle and cab factory in Oevel (Westerlo). DAF invested about one billion Euros in a completely new vehicle series for Euro 6 and in modifications to its factories in the Netherlands and Belgium to make production of the new generation of trucks possible. Prime Minister Di Rupo came to DAF Trucks Flanders to inform himself of the many innovations in the modern axle and cab plant.
