Lunchtime celebrations were enjoyed for some of our apprentices who have completed their 3- or 4-year programme. We currently have 46 Apprentices working throughout Leyland Trucks, represented in a wide range specialisms, from Fabrication and Welding, Automotive Engineering, Assembly Operator, Facilities and Maintenance, Design, HR, Business Administration and Supply Chain, which highlights the variety of opportunities available at Leyland Trucks.
Extra special congratulations go to Naomi Harrison for winning the Syd Zinga Award for Apprentice of Year 2023!
Now in its 3rd year, the Syd Zinga Award recognises hard work and progress against our apprentice scheme. Received nominations were considered by our panel with a focus on academic achievement, workplace appraisals, improved performance, contribution to the team and overcoming adversity.

All were rewarded and congratulated for their exceptional talent, dedication, and hard work, while the free pizza for lunch was a welcoming surprise!
