HR Apprentice
Join our HR department and gain an understanding of how a HR and Learning & Development function operates. You will play a key role in supporting the administration of training courses, apprenticeship reviews, and our work experience program, as well as the recruitment and absence processes. You will also become familiar with our day-to-day systems used within the wider HR team, including SAP for personal data storage and Canva for internal communications.
As you progress, you will take on the responsibility of coordinating the absence management process, assisting with shortlisting and interviews across different business units, and handling some employee relations cases. In addition you will assist in the management of our apprenticeship scheme and the design and delivery of internal training programmes.
This apprenticeship is four years and includes achieving both Level 3 and Level 5 CIPD qualifications. You will attend Blackburn College on day release.
We are recruiting one HR Apprentice this year.
What we are looking for
To apply, you need a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Maths, as well as a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject.
You should have a demonstrable interest in HR, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment. You will be proactive, taking ownership of your personal development within the company and actively shaping your future career path.
